Tenderlore
The trio met whilst at university in Southampton as fellow singer/songwriters. Inspired by each other’s music they began to collaborate on each other’s songs and make their mark on the local music scene. Since their debut album launch in May 2015, the trio have continued to gig widely across the South. Recent gigs have seen Tenderlore supporting raucous folk rockers Mad Dog McCrea, 60s pop legends The Move, and acclaimed folk guitarist and singer Martin Simpson. Inspired by the likes of Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, Fleet Foxes and Laura Marling, Tenderlore’s sound is the amalgamation of three individual musical identities blending as one. |
Antoine and Owena
"It is clear to see why this duo are making their mark in the folk world" - FATEA Magazine "They write the sort of songs that nobody writes anymore, conjuring up situations and stories the way Bob Pegg and Mandy Morton used to...Brilliant!" - Dai Jeffries, Folking.com Inspired by traditional and contemporary folk music, Antoine & Owena create their own original blend of folk music that provides a feast for the ears, the heart and the feet. Combining original material with their own take on some traditional songs, this Wiltshire-based duo of multi-instrumentalists delivers an eclectic mix of songs and tunes which enthuse and entertain. Since their formation in mid-2017, the duo have supported Eliza and Martin Carthy earlier this year. They have also supported Reg Meuross, Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention) as well as headlined at a number of folk clubs and acoustic venues across the south, and performed at several festivals in 2018. In July they released their debut 11-track album entitled “Hands, Hearts, and Hangings”. The album was recorded at the prestigious Real World Studios in Box and received positive reviews. |
