2017 Festival workshops although well received and enjoyable presented some problems which we are addressing to make 2018 run much smoother. Careful planning should eliminate a clash of times and an easier booking process coupled with better signage will hopefully make a significant difference for the better. Music workshops will again cover a variety of Instruments and playing styles. Singing and Harmony groups saw the creation of a freelance choir culminating in an ad hoc public performance.
Dance workshops covering an eclectic mix of the traditional to modern styles were well received and many who participated sufficiently whetted their appetites to the point of joining established dance groups.
If you have talents, skills, trades or just want to come and make a worthwhile contribution and help make this exciting festival better, then please do join our team of lively spirited volunteers and helpers. If you can spare just a small bit of time over the festival then we would love to hear from you! bridportfolkfestival.com/volunteers-and-stewarding.html
